On-Line Bill Pay Now Available!
Alberta Water System is excited to announce On-Line Bill Pay for our residents. For a minimal charge, you can now pay your bill 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover. Please click the Green BAR on the right to get started! **NOTE - YOU WILL NEED YOUR 9 DIGIT ACCOUNT NUMBER AND THE BILLING ENTITY WILL BE ALBERTA WATER SYSTEM.
FOR THOSE WHO USE ACH PAYMENTS PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BILL PAY FEATURE.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees please mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date which is the 14th of each month.
Automatic Bank Draft
The worry-free way to pay your water bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, simply download and fill out the ACH Recurring Debit Form (if available) located in the Forms & Reports Section and drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check. Customer's accounts will be drafted on the 12th of each month unless the 12th is a holiday or weekend and then it will be drafted on the next business day.
Payment Drop-off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office located at 871 Highway 153 in Castor (across from the old sawmill). We accept cash, check, or money orders. Remember the office is only open on Wednesday's from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, excluding holidays.
Do not leave your payment at the office if nobody is there (taped to door or under rock on front porch). Payments left in this manner will not be accepted and any lost payments are the responsibility of the customer and not Alberta Water System, Inc.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
